Subaru Introduces the All-New 2026 Solterra EV SUV

Subaru of America has revealed pricing for the 2026 Subaru Solterra, the next-generation all-electric SUV built with Subaru’s legendary capability and innovation. Arriving at retailers nationwide later this fall, the 2026 Solterra EV starts at $38,495 MSRP, matching last year’s base price while delivering more power, longer driving range, and upgraded interior technology.

Extended Range and Powerful New Solterra XT Model

The 2026 Solterra boasts a new 74.7-kWh lithium-ion battery with up to 288 miles of all-electric driving range, a 25% increase over previous models. Charging from 10% to 80% now takes as little as 30 minutes with improved battery preconditioning and charging speeds up to 150 kW.

For even more performance, Subaru introduces the all-new Solterra XT models, producing 338 horsepower and achieving 0–60 mph in under 5 seconds. The Premium and Limited trims feature uprated motors delivering 233 horsepower, making every version of the Solterra stronger and more responsive than before.

Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive for Every Solterra

True to Subaru heritage, every 2026 Solterra comes standard with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and best-in-class 8.3 inches of ground clearance. With dual electric motors and X-MODE® Dual-Mode System (Snow/Dirt and Deep Snow/Mud), plus Grip Control and Downhill Assist, the Solterra is engineered for confidence both on-road and off-road.

Redesigned Style and Upgraded Interior

The 2026 Solterra EV adopts Subaru’s new EV design language, featuring a bold illuminated six-star logo, updated headlamps, new bumpers, and stylish 18- or 20-inch wheels. Touring XT trims also offer two-tone exterior paint options for added curb appeal.
