For the past 18 years, through the Subaru Share the Love® Event, Subaru and its retailers have donated more than $346 million to charities including The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA®), Make-A-Wish®, Meals on Wheels America, and the National Park Foundation, as well as more than 2,700 hometown charities.
Subaru of America, Inc. has announced that the 2025 Subaru Share the Love® Event generated over $26 million in charitable donations, reinforcing Subaru’s long-standing commitment to community impact through its Subaru Love Promise®.
 
Now in its 18th year, the Subaru Share the Love® Event has raised more than $346 million for national and hometown charities since its launch in 2008, making it one of the most impactful automotive-driven charitable programs in the country.
 
Supporting National Charities and Local Communities
 
During the 2025 event, customers who purchased or leased a new Subaru vehicle were able to direct a donation to one of four national charity partners:
 
The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA®)
Make-A-Wish®
Meals on Wheels America
National Park Foundation
 
Customers also had the option to support local hometown charities selected by participating Subaru retailers, further strengthening community connections and local outreach.
 
Record-Breaking Support for Hometown Charities
 
The 2025 event marked a major milestone, with a record 839 hometown charities supported across the Subaru retailer network. Collectively, these local organizations received over $18.6 million, highlighting Subaru’s continued focus on making a meaningful difference at the community level.
 
This record participation reflects the growing impact of Subaru retailers and customers working together to support causes that matter most in their local communities.
 
How the Subaru Share the Love® Event Works
 
The Subaru Share the Love® Event took place from November 20, 2025, through January 2, 2026. During this time, Subaru and its retailers donated a minimum of $300 to charity for every new vehicle purchased or leased at participating locations nationwide.
 
This simple yet powerful program allows customers to make a direct impact with every vehicle purchase, turning automotive sales into meaningful contributions.
